The notice, in full.
Who this covers
This notice covers the Deimos AI LLC website: the pages under this address. Our instruments that run on their own sites (Ratchet, Marklode and Clockford™) have their own privacy terms, published on those sites.
What we collect through this site
Nothing about you. The site has no accounts, no forms, no comments, no newsletter sign-up and no analytics or advertising scripts. It sets no cookies.
What your browser keeps
If you use the Motion or Sound switches at the top of the page, your browser remembers the choice in its local storage under two keys,
deimos.motionanddeimos.sound. They never leave your device, we can’t read them, and you can clear them with the button above or your browser’s site settings. What any web request carries
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. As with any website, your browser’s requests reach Cloudflare’s servers with the technical details every request carries, such as your IP address, your browser’s user agent and the page asked for. Cloudflare processes them to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse, under Cloudflare’s privacy policy ↗. We don’t add tracking of our own on top.
Files this site fetches
A few pages fetch data files from this same site while you read: tonight’s position of the moon Deimos (/data/deimos.json), the NeuroPhonics simulation’s output, and, on the Security page, this page’s own response headers. Those requests go only to us and carry nothing about you beyond what any request carries.
Links to other sites
Links marked ↗ leave this site, for example to LinkedIn, GitHub or an instrument’s own site. Those sites have their own policies. If you write to us there, your message is handled under their terms as well as ours.
Children
This site is written for people who build and run software. It isn’t aimed at children and collects nothing from anyone.
Changes
If this notice changes, the new revision gets a new letter and date at the top, and the change is logged in the Record’s changelog.
